| Friday - July 30th - 9:30am - Peanut Island Kayak Snorkeling Bring your snorkel gear and a water proof camera as we head out to the best kayaking/snorkeling spot in Palm Beach. We will paddle through crystal clear waters as scene on our home page. Take a refreshing dip in the drink, enjoy a picnic styled lunch under a gazebo or on the beach. Snorkel the pristine waters just feet from the shore on the man made reef which is home to many species of color full fish. The island has a beautiful 1/2 mile paved loop for walking off your hearty lunch, along the trail you will enjoy views of the port, a secluded lagoon, and the historic bomb shelter built in the Kennedy era. Wednesday - August 4th - 7:00pm - Ft. Lauderdale Nights Kayak Rentals & Free Guide Service Join us as we enjoy a night out on the water with the South Florida Kayak Meet Up Group. Dependent on the tide we can paddle down the scenic Middle River, up the New River, out to 17th Street or just make up our own route. Experiencing the change from daylight to night on the calm water can be therapeutic, let the hassles of your work week just roll off your shoulders as you paddle the night away. Sunday - August 8th - 8:00am - Cockpit Club Kayak Rentals & Free Guide Service Calling all long distant paddlers, lets head out for a long loop 11-12 miles around the urban canals of Wilton Manors. We will keep a moderate speed of 2-3mph and make a few pit stops along the way. Enjoy the beautiful scenery & burn some calories for this fun morning paddle. On the way back we will meet up with the Sit-on-Top Club for the slower portion of the last leg. Its going to be a great day for paddling and mingling amongst paddlers of all kinds. Sunday - August 15th - 9:00am - Keewadin Island Beach Escape “Intermediate Tour” Spending the morning drifting along with the tide in a secluded mangrove environment. Set your sights high and low as we have seen both eagle and dolphin along our way. Park your kayak on the soft white sand and immerse yourself into the clear beautiful water. Take a stroll looking for shells, park it on a towel and soak up the rays, or enjoy a game of paddle ball. Luuderdale. Enjoy the ambiance and elaborate homes as the light reflecting on the water shimmers across your bow. Enjoy breath taking views of the Atlantic as we paddle through mangrove lined channels to the Eastern side of Rattle Snake Key. Look up in to the air as Cormorants, Osprey, and other birds soar above, or keep an eye in the shallows for wandering Rays, Star Fish, Lobster and other sea life. As the sun is setting we can watch the sky change color through the mangroves to the West and look over our shoulders to watch the moon rise over the East. Kayaking around West Lake at dusk gives us a unique advantage to view lots of birds as it becomes feeding time for Osprey and Hawks that patrol the area. We will be paddling Westlake Park and returning to the launch to enjoying free beverages, sandwiches, and hotdogs courtesy of All American Kayak. Raffle prizes and Photo Contest will take place from 11:30am-12:30pm. There are 10 single kayaks and 3 tandem kayaks available to be paddled for Free on a first come first serve basis. We will paddle around Little Munyon Island with the scenic view of the Port and Structural Masterpieces behind us. As we approach the Large white sand lined beach on Big Munyon Island take a dip in the drink and explore the island while we set up for lunch.
